Me and Basketball ~The story of Earthfriends~

It was five years ago when I felt I hit a wall!

Everything was wrong, I felt as if I was back paddling.

In my mind I asked myself questions.

What’s going on?

Why am I not progressing?

Is this truly it for me?

I later met a man who I still look up to now.

He gave me a booked By: Jyo Hirayama titled “Five”.

I’m sure some of you know, because it aired on T.V. as well as had a comic series.

It’s about a company downsizing and corporate employee’s being transferred to smaller companies, basically being forced to start over again.

Like basketball, this happenes a lot in the sport!

Not only could I relate to the book, but I felt others did or could too!

So I began to build up from the ground, looking for people in their 30′s from different prefectures, with a great personality and vision of being #1.

I believe that life can be altered through the people we encounter throughout life.

I remember a phrase that touched me it said “WE are playing basketball, not just one person”.

I decided that I really wanted my own basketball team!

So I began studying the game of basketball.

In 2008 I went to the Emperor’s Cup Final!

Aisin vs Toyota.

Aisin’s won, I personally got to congratulate Mr. Sako!

Luckly I was seated close by during the ceremony.

It felt like it was destined to be, I even got a high five!

I was really impressed with Mr. Sako and his story it was at that moment I made my decision to keep at it and work even harder.

I’d like to put all my knowledge and efforts into making a business plan that is successful like Baseball and Soccer J Leagues in Japan.

My dream is making my team number 1 in Japan with many friends and followers!

After two years of hard work and preparation, Earthfriends is finally revealed!

I hope to share our dream and vision with everyone.

Our dream is to become number 1 and to attract all cultures through our story!

Please continue to support the team.

Thank you,

Katsuyuki
